When I draw people, I want to create portraits that capture a special moment, emotion, relationship or bond that is timeless and to be treasured.
It’s important to me that the reference photo offers a rich mixture of texture, contrast and depth.
I was especially honored to create a portrait of a grandmother and granddaughter who had never met by combining two photos into one. (See “Butterfly Whispers” in the gallery below.)
